About This Camp

TheZone — comprising BoyZone (boys) and GirlZone (girls) — is the flagship summer camp of Oorah, one of the largest and most respected Jewish outreach organizations in the world. Located in the Catskills (Gilboa, NY area), TheZone operates separate sessions for boys and girls, providing Jewish youth from all backgrounds with a warm, fun, fully glatt kosher and shomer Shabbos summer experience on a stunning, amenity-rich campus. The camp is heavily subsidized by Oorah, making it accessible to families from all walks of life. Campers are connected year-round through Oorah's TorahMates kesher program, extending the impact of camp far beyond the summer months.
