About This Camp
Camp Step It Up is the only Shomer Shabbat, glatt kosher sleep-away basketball camp in the country. Held on the beautiful campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the camp draws players entering grades 3-12 from over 30 Jewish Day Schools across the United States. The food is glatt kosher under OU supervision, with Chalav Yisrael available on request. Boys and girls run separate programs on their own campuses, coming together for three daily meals, field trips, and Shabbat. The Shabbat experience is a highlight: Kabbalat Shabbat, traditional Friday night dinner with zmirot and divrei Torah, Shabbat morning davening, and an inspirational outdoor Havdalah. Session pricing starts at $3,950 for boys and girls; the full summer is $10,200 (boys) / $9,900 (girls).
